Obama / Boehner Fast Track Bill Introduction Thursday
By Harriet Heywood,
Hello all,
With a heavy heart and pissed off attitude, I would like to report:
The Fast Track bill will be introduced as a standalone bill by the House tomorrow, Thursday. When Democracy doesn’t give them what they want, they simply try twisted tricks. After a week of unprecedented and questionable behavior by the Free Traitors that call themselves our representatives, they are doing the unthinkable, ignoring the will of the people, and attempting to pass Fast Track with a wink and a promise of Trade Assistance in a separate bill.
Here is a simple breakdown of what we will do to stop the fast track bill from passing:

1. For good Democrats that have stood with us on this, thank them for remaining strong and ask them to reach out to the 28 misguided souls who voted for Fast Track last Friday and convince them to vote NO on a Fast Track bill that doesn’t include Trade Adjustment Assistance (TAA).
2. For the 28 Democrats who sided with the president last week and voted for Fast Track, be sure to pressure them making sure they realize if they believe the nonsense Boehner tells them, they will see a primary. We all know Republicans hate TAA and see it as welfare, so the idea that TAA and other promises will pass on its own is ridiculous.
3. For Republicans, there are a number that are with us. Simply tell them to uphold the Constitution, U.S. sovereignty, and to save jobs and vote NO on Fast Track.

Sample script for those 28 misguided democrats:
“I urge you to stand up for workers and vote NO on Fast Track for the TPP. You are either with us or against us. Do you really believe Boehner will help us with TAA that republicans see as welfare? There is no middle ground on this vote. Either you’re with us or you’re not. If you vote against us, we won’t forget. Vote NO on Fast Track.”

There is already a progressive coalition for American jobs. It’s called the labor movement.
